Once Rath realized that Jaul’s daughter was born, he sent Shévan to kill the girl. He found her but couldn’t complete his task and let her go. The child was sent to Trobathia shortly after with him praying she would return to bring a new light to the upcoming darkness. When he returned to Rath, he lied about not finding her which led to Rath issuing Regulation 66, a kill order to execute every female newborn within a certain distance. Shévan’s daughter was within the distance ordered. He killed his daughter himself to make it quick rather than have her tortured by Rath’s Demon’s. His wife banished him from the family after the event. He served Rath for 22 Rotations after that to protect his family but also because he was a coward who was afraid to stand up for what was right.

In 8056, Shévan confronted Fox with the intention to kill her but once again couldn’t. This began his inner conflict. When Rath was about to execute Fox with his two blades as sacrifice to save Daisy Peterson, Shévan saved her. He was inspired by her valiant nature and gained the courage he once sought to find. With Fox by his side, they fought Rath but failed. Shévan was taken prisoner with Daisy and was later killed.
