Jade Vourkari (born 5 October) is an American actress who is known for her role in Fox (2018 - 2019).

Early Life

In her interview with Daniel Andrade featured on Beyond the Page with Daniel Andrade, she revealed that she had grown up in a religious household.

Acting Career

In 2018, Vourkari explained in the same interview with Andrade that she had done Youtube videos and other film projects prior to her being cast as Daisy Peterson, but nothing on the same scale as Fox.

After Melanie Tornroth's departure from Fox, SkySoft had auditioned 153 actresses for the role of Daisy Peterson with Jade Vourkari earning the role for the remaining seasons. Vourkari revealed to Andrade in her podcast interview, that the audition process consisted of two parts: interviews and boot camp. In the following months, Monroe Hayden revealed that the interview portion was conducted to see if Vourkari's personality fit well with the rest of the cast members, while the boot camp portion was conducted to see if she could perform the stunts required of her. The boot camp consisted of an introduction to fencing and sparring which she then was assigned to spar with Hayden and Janelle Garcia during the audition. Once she won the role, she was introduced to archery and revealed that the bow held 25lbs to 30lbs of pressure in which she had to "develop muscles" to pull it as far back as she does in the show, over and over, take after take.

On November 7, 2019, it was announced that Sheana Turner had stepped down from the role of Raven in Sherwood with Garcia taking over the role. Garcia was originally cast as Scarlett in the show. The role was taken over by Vourkari in the event of transition.
