Anu

"All I ever wanted was to be loved by my parents!"

- Anu

Biography

Played by Christian Reed

He was ripped from his mother's arms just after birth. Eve of Auxdra, known at the time as Merila, had very little interaction with her son, despite her wanting more. His father, Rath, only held him once as an newborn and never showed him any kind of love or support after. Anu was sent to be raised by the Dramon Priests, who promised to build him into a strong unstoppable force for their plans.

Initially Rath believed that their plan included him but soon realized that their plan was to use Anu to help build their republic. He was induced with Dramon since he was born and continued to take it as an adult. He was educated in literature, sword fighting, mathematics and politics. To help with his lonliness and depression, he often sought comfort from the Druids who welcomed him. He was even blessed with permission to paint his face like they do, a gesture that indicated that he had accepted him as their own. He was made aware of his half sister at a young age but never met her until The Great Battle when he was around 23. During the battle he had killed his father, fought his sister and accidentally killed their mother. Heart broken and guilt stricken, Anu fled the scene.

Shortly after, he continued to work alongside the Priests but never made himself available to be used by them. He still sought refuge with the Druids and even fell madly in love with one of their women. Her name was Choti. They committed a hand-fast with no witnesses, committing their hearts to one another. This time was the most peacefull for him. However, the Priests continued to demand his allegiance but the more he refused, the more desperate they became. Using Dark Magic, they were able to foretell that Fox would end up raising his child. As a way to manipulate him, they told him that she planned on stealing his child to raise as her own. And as Anu's hatred grew for Fox, so did his temper which ultimately drove Choti away to stay with her Aunt and Uncle. Little did he know she was already pregnant.

Out of fear that her child would grow up to be like him- or worse, that he'd accidentally hurt the child, she decided to stay away from him in hopes to raise the baby in peace. But towards the end of her pregnancy, her body started to weaken and she knew that her time was coming to an end. Choti was always a supporter of Fox and admired both her and Daisy, which is why when the time came, she decided to seek them out and ask if they would be willing to raise her child. Apart from that, she also wanted to make sure her child would have a connection with their lineage. During a stormy evening, she was so close to their home when she went into labor.

She sent her two younger cousins to find Fox, luckily they did and Fox was able to deliver the child safely. The child was a baby girl and the two immediately connected. Before Choti passed, she told her the identity of the baby's father. Confused and afraid, Fox brought the baby girl home to Daisy who instatly loved her. After discussing the situation regarding Anu, the couple decided to keep the baby but keep her identity a secret, even from her. They named her Ronin, which in Ohaplushlang means storm.

Ronin grew to reflect both her parents but she also shared Anu's temper. The more her identity was kept from her, the more angry she got. After some time, Fox and Daisy grew older and Anu eventually found out that Fox's daughter was in fact his and sought revenge for the time he lost. He only met with her twice, once during the Great Battle and the second, when he finally killed her but this released a darkness in Ronin that he did not anticipate....
